  Pioneer School scare tactics

  i just talked with a pioneer who came back from school and she said that at the end there was emphasis put on two things.. 1: stay loyal to the governing body and their teachings.. 2: beware of propaganda.

  they said that in wartime the enemy will use propaganda to break the spirit of or confuse the troops.

  they said the same things is happening now, so reject negative reports about the organization.. this pioneer (who is fully pimi btw and enthusiastic about it) said she asked her cotboe about if we really have that problem here.

  They must really be scared making this part of pioneer school- we never heard that during pioneer school when we went

  Cousin's Runaway Girlfriend Living with us

  Ask her the name and phone number of her bible teacher, and then tell that woman or called sister in (JW language)she is sexually active with him. That sister will have to report it to the elders of the congregation/ or church also known as Kingdom Hall. Also if you can find out the name of the congregation they belong to, you can call and speak with the head elder also known as coordinator of body of elders.

  Cousin's Runaway Girlfriend Living with us

  Don't worry about that happening so fast, students have to study at least 1 book, answer a bunch of questions- jump thru a bunch of hoops before they can get baptized. If she is sleeping with the kid, that's already against the rules and makes her disqualified

  My suggestion would be to start a new post asking if anyone in the Columbia sc area would be willing to help you, meet or face time. I'm sure there is some ex Jws up around there. Or just keep posting your questions here- a lot of us are willing to answer the questions you both have😊

  Clearly, undeniably, without doubt ... is there a term for introducing a thought in such a way.

  watchtower article often introduce a point that has no merit with words such a "undeniably.".

  for instance the watchtower 2014 august 15 page 10 says:.

  "jehovah undeniably blesses the preaching work of christian women and supports them in times of trial.

  I agree with everything that has been said, has anyone compared the statements they make with how they change it when they rewrite it on the CD-ROM? Example: when they said statements like millions now living will never did, or Armageddon will come in this century, etc. I'm sure there is already a thread about this but I wanted to see how they change the wording. Btw- when they were encouraging all to get rid of those bound volumes, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up and I suspiciously was like why would they encourage that, well now we know...

  an unashamed contribution appeal... this one with the most manipulative language i can imagine... it may have been commented on before, but i am going to anyway.. p5 quote.

  it has been several months now, since i learned ttat and the shock and grief is slowly lifting, although some days are harder than others.

  after 40 years a devout believer i guess i should not be surprised that the transition has been challenging and the losses immense, and i am sure very many of you can relate to my struggles.

  i frequently read the posts on here and my heart goes out to all of you, who grieve and struggle each in your own way, and i wish all of you continued courage and peace.

  I enjoyed your poem but have a comment, I never felt close to Jehovah, prayer always just felt like talking to myself. I have never had any of my prayers answered. I begged Jehovah for weeks to help me when I started to wake up, silence. It always felt like no one was on the other end. Perfect justice in my imperfect mind doesn't kill billions of people because they aren't Jws. I agree with your confusion about what to believe now. 😑

  the following is transcribed from the 12.30 mark.. satan also has the scheme to spread rumors about our brothers including the faithful slave.

  Ok- where do I begin... First I watched this train wreck from the broadcast and yes this was the transcript. 2nd, I agree with all the comments so far so I won't repeat them in my words. But one thing I want to point out is how dumb they are because they are inviting the oblivious friends to watch this broadcast and be very very curious as to what they are referring to about these rumors and perhaps fall down the rabbit hole with their help. I know the GB either reads these comments on here themselves or has assigned bethelite moles to monitor these comments so that's what I want to say about that. I also watched the ARC in its entirety and no one is taking anything out of context. Consequences of your actions are now biting you, awe pity

  Im Writing An Ex-JW Self Help Book

  we all know waking up from the cult and trying to leave is a very scary and life changing experience.

  for many it's traumatic and few find the transition easy.

  we have to deal with families cutting us off entirely or keeping us at arms length at best, lies being told about us by the organization, ex members gossiping about us and finding ourselves in a world very different from what we're prepared for.. for this reason, i've decided to start writing a self-help book informing jws of what to expect when they leave the org.
